We are an award-winning lawn care company, earning a North Carolina state and industry-wide award. Our current office is just outside of Aulander, North Carolina, in Bertie County. But you will spend your days looking after the needs of our clients. Our commercial and residential customer locations include Hertford and Bertie Counties.

We recognize that every team member has a personal life, family, and a desire for free time. We create client schedules based on our technicians’ ability to maintain their work hours. You can usually expect a four-day work week, with work ten hours daily. The days are long, but the work is fulfilling.

But here’s what you may find most attractive about jobs with Tayloe’s Lawn Care Services, LLC. The 4-day on 3-off schedule gives you the opportunity to enjoy three day weekends (usually!).

The Industry Requires a Love for Working Outdoors

You won’t find a lawn care company fulfilling if you are not passionate about working outdoors. We work in almost all weather conditions and prefer not to run behind unless the ground is too wet or in unsafe conditions.

The weather in NC is hot in the summer and can be cool and wet in the late winter, early spring, and fall seasons. Safe Equipment Operation

Anyone can run a mower or weedeater with a little bit of support. But we are looking for those who live by the rule “safety first.”

Maintaining lawns is more than cutting grass or trimming shrubs. We’re searching for people committed to protecting their safety and those around them, whether team members, clients, or pets.

We don’t take shortcuts on safety. When you sign on with us, we expect you to keep safety for all at the top of your mind. We recognize that the industry has some inherent dangers (moving parts, sharp blades, roadway traffic), but we expect employees to apply common sense and work with an eye on safety in every area of the business.

We provide some safety gear that benefits you: ear protection, eye protection, and gloves. You supply steel-toed boots and a safety-minded attitude.
